  6. There have been many changes since the last public release, mainly as
  7. Hyperion Software wanted to use my chunkyppc.library for their
  8. upcoming games, like for example "Heretic II". Also some upcoming
  9. Public Domain products like WarpMAME will probably profit of
  10. this library. This is version V14.
  11.  
  12. *This library is freeware and whoever wants to use it can use it.*
  13. *Support for StormC, vbcc and EGCS, 68k and WarpUP always, is    *
  14. *included. Authors of commercial or Shareware software are       *
  15. *allowed to include chunkyppc.library in their programs.         *

  17. But they had a lot of wishes for new features. Look at the documentation
  18. for details.

  20. chunkyppc supports:

  22. - Screen
  23. - Workbench Window (for Cybergraphics and Picasso 96)

  25. - Pubscreen support
  26. - PIP for Picasso 96 (possible that support for PIP on CGX
  27.   will be added in the next version)
  28. - ASL or rtgmaster requester (rtgmaster will only be used
  29.   if installed, chunkyppc runs also without it, and even
  30.   if it is installed, you can disable it and use the ASL
  31.   requester instead)
  32. - On-the-fly-conversion between different 16 Bit formats
  33. - 68k support for a lot of functions added
  34.  
  35. A lot of the new functions only exist for 8 and 16 Bit colordepths, as
  36. Hyperion currently only needs 16 Bit colordepth.
